What we do abroad

Projects in Sierra Leone

Since being establshed in 2002, TYSGO has been working to relief of poverty, sickness, distress and disability of person Sierra Leone. We have been running a range of projects to support the poor, less privileged in the community. Many children suffer and, critically, do not access education because they live on the street and/or lack a supportive family environment.

Some may be living at home but engaged in child labour during the day. At the more extreme end of the scale, we work with children living 100 percent of their time on the streets, for whom life is a daily struggle.

Ebola Affected Support

With the medical dangers of Ebola now finally on the wane, the growing humanitarian crisis faced by thousands of Ebola-affected children has tragically begun to fade from public view.

Our appeal aims to encourage the public to help us finish the work that's been started to ensure that thousands of children affected worst by Ebola are given the opportunity to progress along their journey from destitution to a secure, sustainable life at home and in school.
